Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you would like to replace a delegate, our policy is as follows:

1. Please inform the events team by email (aecevents@nhselect.org.uk) if you wish to send a replacement delegate, including their requirements e.g. diet, access etc. no later than 48hrs before the event.

2. There is no charge incurred for replacement delegates, however by agreeing to attend the event any replacement delegates are agreeing to the requirements detailed in our cancellation policy below.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you will need to bring your ticket with you in order to access the conference. Your ticket will be checked at the registration desk and you will then be provided with your badge and conference pack.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel a booking to this event, our cancellation policy for Network Member's only is as follows:

1. Please send your cancellation details to the events team by email (aecevents@nhselect.org.uk) as soon as possible.

2. If you notify the team of your cancellation up to 7 working days prior to the event there will be no charge.

3. If you notify the events team of your cancellation less than 7 working days prior to the event, the cost of £250 will be payable, whatever the circumstances e.g. inclement weather, transport delays or any other reason outside of the AECN's control. In this case you will be invoiced after the event.

4. Where you have booked a place at the event and do not attend the cost of £250 will be payable. You will be invoiced after the event.

5. AECN expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses of damages arising as a result of such a cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

For those attendees who are not part of the network,

1. Please send your cancellation details to the events team by email (aecevents@nhselect.org.uk) as soon as possible.

2. If you notify the team of your cancellation up to 7 working days prior to the event there will be no charge.

3. If you notify the team of your cancellation with less than 7 working days prior to the event refunds are not applicable, therefore the cost of your ticket will not be refunded to you, whatever the circumstances e.g. inclement weather, transport delays or any other reason outside of the AECN's control.

Why do you charge a cancellation fee?

We apply the above charge because we pay a 'per person rate' for catering and room rental for all of our events. Once our numbers are confirmed to the venue we are invoiced for every delegate regardless of whether they attend the event or not.
